They have great detailing, but poor assembly. You will need to fix doors, latches, and possibly touch up paint. If you are using them for an event allow time for setting up stands and making proper adjustments. Once again the detail on the glass and metal pieces is fantastic.. its the assembly by the manufacturer that made them so poor. Thankfully with help from handy family members I was still able to use them for my event.

I have had a lot of fun with this item. I think it is so pretty and can be used indoors or on the deck or patio. I added flowers to it and it is stunning especially with colored light within. Did I mention the great price? This lantern and others would be beautiful for wedding purposes. I like it because it is unique and designed so beautifully. I did not have to "doctor" it at all. In other words I did not have to paint it because it was perfect when I got it. It has double doors that open to the inside of the lantern. Opening and closing is a little tricky but doable. Love it!! Thank you Amazon!!
