Up to 9hr is a huge stretch, recently used and each one lasted about 2 hours max.
I'd save my money...

These mini-column candles are basically tea candle size. They do burn much longer, and without any overtly noticeable odor or smoke. I mark them down to 3 stars because of the formulation which makes them very "crumbly". One arrived crumbled right down to wick along one side in the package even though no sign of rough handling of the shipping box and proper packing. Another fractured/crumbled when I accidentally dropped it on floor from about 3 ft.
If you are going to store them for emergency use in a cabinet or sturdy box they should give decent service. They will NOT stand up to rough handling in an emergency kit in a vehicle trunk or in a backpack. If storing make sure you don't place anything heavy on them or where they may get knocked off a shelf or knocked about.
