We chose swing-arm lamps so that the location of the light could be adjusted to where it was needed at any given time. The swing arm was stiff and had a narrow range of motion. Moving the swing arm caused the vertical support to move. The support is in three parts (metal/wood/metal), and each part moved separately, leaving the pieces unaligned. We purchased two lamps, and tested both, getting the same results.

Aside from its mechanical shortcomings, the lamp is beautiful. It might be a good choice for a location where there is no need to adjust the swing arm, though at this price it should function properly.

The items arrived 18 days after we ordered them, which seems like a long time. We got a notification when the items shipped, but there was no tracking.

The light bulb in one of the boxes didn't work.

We're not pleased with the seller's policy that requires the customer to pay for return shipping. That might be a sensible policy for items...Read more
