I purchased 3 of these: one for myself because I love scent throughout my home but fear real candles when I can't be in the room all the time. I have replaced all my real candles with flameless candles from a very reputable company, but I wanted something a bit more 'fun', especially for the bathroom.
If you're looking for a cute, rather different, night light with a dimmer switch, this is the one for you but be prepared for it to wobble and tip. The electrical cord comes from the direct center of the base, just like any table lamp. The hexagonal-shaped nut/bolt that holds that cord mechanism in place by tightening around the threads is longer than the feet of the unit. As a result, the thing never actually sits evenly on the table surface. It either wobbles constantly as one moves around the room and 'shakes' the unit on the furniture, or it tilts to one side. I am so glad I did buy this. I love candles threw my home but i had a problem I have indoor cats and they are young ones. and they run around alot and very hard some times. and when i am not around one get up on the counter were I had the candles now this is a really safe way to go with you having cats or dogs Small children. The sent that come out of this is so great and you can lower it to your likes, so what i did I went back here and order 4 more and one is a plugin for the cats were there litter box is at. so I do not have to spray any more there it will do it for me and they cant get to it.:)one is a Colbot Blue and the others are Purple and Orange an Blue. I cant say any more then that but it will save you money in the long run and the oils all you need to put in it is 20 drops and it last all day I know I tried it already and i didn't do 1/2 an 1/2 water. you can but I didn't. The purple light looks a little pink. It serves as a nice accent light. Warms oil in a way that scents the whole room. I just love this thing. The design is attractive, people (both male and female) have commented on how nice it looks. You can use any oil so you are not restricted like with plug ins. I like the adjustable switch, too. I got the blue one too from the same seller so you will see this post there, too.
