the piece arrived intact, but it did have fingerprints on it, the manufacturers box including the white interior and accompanying manufacturers paperwork looks beat-up, stained and tattered, I was planning on giving this as a gift, but it is unsuitable and needs to be returned. it is unusual to mention the packaging in a product review, but it does not look like I was given a new item, it looks "used." the votive is beautiful and modern, but I am still quite disappointed in this experience.
