Lisa Smith has been inspired by her many trips to the canyons of the southwest. Grand Canyon, Arches National Park, Bryce Canyon and others. These canyons are carved from water and wind. The coppery sand and desert flora are referenced by the copper and verdigris on the ripples and ridges of Nambe's new Copper Canyon Collection. Due to subtly varying verdigris (green patina), each piece is unique, a sculpture of contrasting color and texture. For heirloom-quality durability, Copper Canyon pieces are made of our signature Nambé Alloy coated with copper. A clear protective coating makes upkeep as simple as wiping with a damp or soapy cloth and eliminates the need for polishing.

Even after reading the initial review I tried ordering these as they were on the bride's wish list. The pair I received were horribly scratched even though they appeared to have been in original packaging from the company. I tried again thinking they had been the same pair as sent to the previous reviewer. This time I did get a different pair. The second package had obviously been returned by someone else as the factory labels and packaging was torn. These were not as badly damaged as the first pair but the polished areas were with scratches/smudges that do not clear w/ polishing using a clean soft cloth. Non polished areas appear to be finished differently,one is heavier with color than the other. Very disappointed in the quality, so returned and moving on.

This was to be a wedding present. Product was returned when it arrived scratched, which did not happen during shipping. What I'm saying is the product was shipped damaged, probably hoping that I was too lazy to return then -- Doh...
