Blue Glass Moroccan-Style Lantern

Comment: This lantern came EXACTLY as described, which was great for me! I was a little worried about the color description "cobalt blue," as cobalt blue is actually a shade between royal and navy blue. I hoped the lantern glass would be closer to the teal in the picture, and it is--a lovely dark turquoise (teal) color. I am using it as decor on my wall units to complement my collection of articles from around the world, and since my husband is from the Middle East, I am thrilled to have this piece in my home! When considering the dimensions, keep in mind that the 10 1/4" height includes the overall height (to the top of the hanger ring). I would classify this lantern as fairly small, but it is perfect for my needs.

Comment: The quality of the lattern was okay. The color of the glass was not this teal, but more of a washed out light blue. And there was not a spot to place the tea light inside like other latterns that I had purchased.

Comment: I saw this when searching candles on Amazon for my wish list and thought, "Why not?" Well someone did buy it for me for Christmas and it's GORGEOUS! What I love most about it is that it takes small jar candles and Glade candles inside it's body! This way you have a longer candle life in your lantern unlike the others which take only the tea light candles. You're not constantly replacing them. Another thing I like about this? It's nicely vented above and the metal doesn't get "hot" nor can anything accidentally fall into the flame. I WILL be buying more of these now. What a nice surprise to a "why not" gift!

Comment: This lantern looks more expensive than it is. Sure, it's not made of the finest materials or constructed as solidly as something you'd buy in a boutique, but you'd only notice this if you examined it closely. For its size, depth of color, and design, it's a real bargain. **This review was written when the price of the item was under $5.**

Comment: I bought this to go with my world theme for my house. I have seen others like it at the world market, but not in this color. It is nice for outside candle lite and a warm touch to any home.
