Amazon.com Review

A warm counterpoint to Lenox's Winter Greetings white bone china, the Everyday stoneware collection features soft buff and green backgrounds hand-painted with visible brushstrokes. Designed by artist Catherine McClung, the Everyday mix-and-match series features the birds of winter, such as the cardinal, nuthatch, chickadee, and goldfinch. This particular 12-piece dinnerware set showcases the cardinal, depicting at least one bright red male cardinal on each piece, and sometimes, as on the salad plate, the tan female as well. The four place settings in the set consist of a 10-3/4-inch dinner plate, 8-1/2-inch salad plate, and 14-ounce mug.

As the name implies, Winter Greetings Everyday is intended for casual, daily use during the winter months. Very durable and chip-resistant, the stoneware goes from freezer to oven to table, and is safe for the microwave and dishwasher as well. Lenox backs its products with a lifetime warranty, and will replace any unsatisfactory item or provide the customer a full refund. In addition, under its lifetime breakage replacement program, Lenox will replace any broken piece that is in stock at 50 percent off the current suggested retail price. --Ann Bieri

I sent 2 sets of this to my mother for next year-she loves it! It will make a beautiful addition to her table in the fall and winter and the price could NOT be beat. I am very pleased with my purchase. Amazon rocks!

I am so glad that I bought this identical set in late 2005, when Amazon was offering it at a special price. I only paid 60 and am very pleased with it. I admit to being partial to anything bird related, Especially CARDINALS, plus I have had nothing but good experiences with the Lenox brand. The reviewer who rated it at low quality must have gotten a lemon set. This is Quality dinnerware.

I have had this dinnerware set for over five years and have not had any problems using them. They are so beautiful. I have washed them in the dish washer repeatedly without any problem what so ever. I first saw the regular Greetings, with the painted birds for summer, spring, etc. and wanted them. But by the time I had decided, they were discontinued. They were pastels in pinks and blues. But the Christmas set is really more beautiful and I try to use them everyday in December and January.........or anytime during the winter that I want to add style!!
