These are beautiful. My table settings and serveware would likely be described as Mediterranean, but I couldn't find candlestick holders of that theme that I liked. As I was browsing the various candlestick holders listed on Amazon, I came across these and was intrigued. The combination of the white, white on white vine motif and platinum bands at the top and bottom make these candlestick holders fit in with both formal, white china place settings and my casual yellow and red dining service. I like them so much I'm looking at the whole Lenox Opal Innocence Platinum line for my formal settings.
Taper candlesticks sit in the holders deep enough that they don't fall over but they're not secure by anything other than gravity. Classic Tapers fit tightly into the holders and don't move around.
