Made in China, of course. Okay for cheap use on patios for a party, but for a real emergency lantern, you're way better off going to an antique store and getting a real, solid old steel American or German hurricane lantern. This only cosmetically looks like them...I'm not even sure it's a real cold blast lantern, I don't think the side tubes are actually functional.

Partner, if you're looking for an inexpensive decorative piece to add the flavor of the old west or of days long gone by, this will do nicely. You can't mention the name of another search motor or site either. I think you're getting my meaning by now. But, on the other hand if you're looking for quality and your family's wellbeing and yours depends upon it, I suggest you spend your money more wisely and buy the real McCoy. Do a visual comparison yourself;...Read more

Smell Terrible,

I bought these along with two other of another brand, these smell like the finish burns off for the first 10 hours in use, the other brand are scentless. These are cheap but if you get them burn them outside for a day or two to avoid the stench.
