Kate Aspen Luminous Mini Lanterns

I had read reviews somewhere else for these lanterns that complained of things so I just got one for a sample before I bought more for my wedding. The handles are meant to stay up, if you want them to lay down it will knock off the lid. They do come with a small tealight candle inside, which can be removed if you are going to use battery-powered candles. It was smaller than expected. They are only 2.5 inches wide and about 4 inches tall.

For the price, these are good little lanterns. They look nice (even though cheaply made), but there are a few issues to be aware of:
1) to light the candle you slide the top up (no door that opens). You can remove the handle if you want.
2) the included tea lights are glued in. If you grab the side of the tea light with pliers, you can remove and replace them

We hang them under an umbrella on the patio and they look great. Would buy again.

The only way to lit or extinguish this is by lifting the top. The top gets too hot to lift if you want to put the candle out, and a snuffer won't fit so you have to blow,hard, which makes the wax spray. Made one out of a tin can after searching the internet and it works 100X better for NO cost.
