This is the kind of domed lantern you'd find in the bazaars of Damascus. The silver-colored metal is hand-tooled with traditional Middle Eastern/Moroccan floral patterns and geometric cutouts. The lantern has a hook ring that can be used to hang this lantern from a wall hook, or can be used to move this lantern from a table surface to another surface. One of the panels opens for ease of inserting, lighting, and removing of candles. Approximate Dimensions: Height: 13" (14" w/ hook), Width: 5 1/2", Depth: 5 1/2".

This lamp is very beautiful, but it takes a really long time to get, around 2 weeks and at around 10 dollars for shipping. The door takes some messing with to latch properly. Some moroccan lanterns look cheap in person but not this one. looks well made and is so pretty lit up. Good buy if willing to wait for it to arrive.
