This thing is just so so so pretty. I'm male and 26. I'm into flowers. After doing chores every week, I like to treat myself out by buying some fresh flowers. This vase does not let the flowers steal all the limelight. It's so freaking gorgeous when the light hits it. All the curves and facets are so slender and powerful all at once. The design is so genius. And I also love the weight. When you pick it up, it's real heavy. Better so you can appreciate every ounce of it's preciousness. I plan to buy two more by the end of the week just so I can have two matching vases. A third for a perfect housewarming gift.

The very top of the rim is about 8in in diameter. 5in around the middle. And almost 13in for height. I think the size is perfect. Large enough to hold six stems of stargazers (around 20 blooms), a dozen carnations, and 4 sets of decorative leaves.

This is now my favorite vase of all time. And I've had many - but none at this level of value and price.

This is a beautiful vase, very heavy crystal, all that one would expect from Mikasa.

Purchased for my wife for Christmas. She loves the styling of the crystal vase and it one of the only Christmas gifts she didn't exchange! It is beautiful.
