Square Illumination Fragrance Warmer, Tuscan Brown (Kitchen) Don't get me wrong-- this is a beautiful candle warmer, and looks elegant in any environment. I loved it at first, but then started noticing a lot of issues with this brand. The heat of the bulb starting discoloring the beautiful brown of the candle warmer; instead of Tuscan brown, half of the warmer is now an ugly off-green color from the heat burning the paint. Additionally, this thing goes through lightbulbs like nobody's business; one bulb (made by the same company) lasted a total of three weeks, the replacement bulb I purchased lasted a grand total of three days. These NPR-5 bulbs run you about $10 for one, so yes, while you're not paying the full price for an authentic Scentsy warmer, you will soon make up for it from the price of the bulb. I went ahead an ordered an authentic Scentsy warmer; $35 compared to this $13 warmer, however I've had it running for over a month now and the lightbulb still hasn't died, not to mention Scentsy's usage of a generic 25-watt bulb...Read more 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Candle Warmers Etc. Square Illumination Fragrance Warmer, Tuscan Cream (Kitchen) This product is nothing like the pictures depicts - not an all over cream color, the raised pattern is really caramel color. In addition, the halogen light blew out in less than a week and the cost to replace is $10 -- which makes a $14 item pretty pricey to maintain. One plus, the bowl for the wax tart is quite large which is convenient but does not out weigh the above negative aspects. 6 of 7 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Candle Warmers Etc. Square Illumination Fragrance Warmer, Tuscan Cream (Kitchen) The previous reviewer was right, the bulbs are expensive. If you're planning on having this long term it would be more cost effective to buy a scentsy, which has $1 bulbs. The color I bought is a light cream with yellow circles not as elegant as it looks on this preview. I would have gone with the white had I realized how yellow the swirls were going to look. It works well though, and I have my fingers crossed that the bulb holds out for a long time. |
