This handcrafted candle plate from India has a finely wrought design; the quality of the work is beautiful. I began by using it for my beeswax candle, then ended up using it for display.

This is very pretty. It's small, so you can't put a large pillar on it, but it's great for a narrow pillar candle.

The detail in the design is intricate with no sharp edges with great detail, unlike what you might expect from cheaply molded holders. They hold a three inch pillar candle tight enough that you do not have to worry about the candles shifting or slipping off center. I bought two silver plates to set these not because I really needed silver plates, but I wanted something to put them on, and the plates not only catch any run off of a 3X pillar candle but the mirror like silver surfaces help to reflect the candles light. Anything would work for this purpose, and probably unnecessary in most cases, but they protect the exotic wood cabinets I have my candles placed on.
Over great looking well fitting candle holders at a price only slightly more than some of the glass 3X candle holders I've seen.
