Just what we needed for advent this year. The finish is bright, though a bit uneven. This is not that noticeable in use but if you get up close you can see some of the swirls and uneveness in the finish.

this is a nice piece. heavy weight and well made. It is smaller than I expected, but I am happy with the craftsmanship.
