Does not seem safe to use,

I purchased this item and I was very disappointed. t does look nice but, It was loose and does not seem safe to use. I would not go so far as to call it cheap quality however it was overpriced. The seller was no help with my concerns. Keep looking you will find a better one.

I picked this up in a second hand store for a few bucks thinking it would be fun to fancy things up at a party. There's nothing like cleaning a silver piece to get a sense of the quality, though, and I discovered this is a very cheap silver plate (or at least I assume it's silver since it had oxidized). It was a little crooked, but since every element (candle holders, cups, four part stem) screws apart, I figured I could straighten it out. Not much luck with that. the upshot is that even at $12 and after the effort of cleaning it, I don't think I want this in my house.
